Special or Filled Panettone di Pasticceria Fraccaro
The story goes that the Panettone was born either of the love of a young falconer for a poor baker’s daughter, or of a culinary error of the cook’s helper at the court of Ludovico il Moro. Whatever the case, Italy’s traditional Christmas cake, Panettone, is pure goodness. Today, we can add a thousand taste variations to that goodness: from fragrant orange cream to the strong and decisive taste of gianduja. We celebrate the fragrances of our regions with a Panettone with Prosecco and one with grappa, and we go to Naples for Limoncello. The white figs come from Cilento DOP, the Annurca Apple is from Campania, the mandarin from Sicily and the Pellecchiella apricot from Vesuvius (Slow Food Presidium). The keys for all our ingredients are our constant search for the highest quality ingredients and our artisanal method, the heritage of our family history, like our sourdough, which has been passed down from generation to generation since 1932.
